Talk or type
Hold a key and just say it, or type it. Either way Katchy answers and gets it done. No prompt box to fuss over, no app to open.

A human and computer interaction company
We’re two 22 year olds from Europe. Katchy started as a tiny side project we didn’t really believe in. Forty eight days later it’s the biggest thing we’ve ever made, and it’s only the first thing this little company will build.
As far as we know, we’re the first company of its kind in Lithuania, and one of the first in Europe. We honestly have no idea where this goes from here. What we do know is what we’re building: a bridge between how a computer thinks and how a person wants to work. The interface, the interactivity, the part in between that has always felt clunky.
How it started
We’re Rokas and Vakarė, a 22 year old couple from Europe. We’ve started a bunch of things together. Almost none of them worked. We were getting pretty used to it.
Katchy was meant to be one more little experiment. Hold a key, talk or type, and your Mac just does the thing you asked. We built it on the side, put it out quietly, and honestly expected nothing.
Then people showed up. Then they started paying. Then they started buying it for their friends. For the first time, one of our projects wasn’t just working. It was taking off on its own.
48 days in
From a side project to this in under seven weeks. By a mile, the most successful thing we’ve ever built. That’s the moment we stopped calling it a side project.
The first product
No new app to learn. No window to open. You hold one key, talk or type, and Katchy gets the thing done right where you’re already working.
Hold a key and just say it, or type it. Either way Katchy answers and gets it done. No prompt box to fuss over, no app to open.
Katchy looks at the window in front of you and answers about that exact thing. The picture of your screen never leaves your Mac.
When the thing you need is right there on screen, Katchy floats a little cursor onto the exact button or row. Less hunting around.
Rename a pile of files, draft the email, tidy your Desktop, pull the notes out of a meeting. Say it in one sentence and it happens.
GPT, Claude and Gemini, all behind a single hotkey. Katchy picks the right one for your question, so you never have to think about it.
No trackers, no analytics, nothing sold. Only a short, tidied up version of your task ever leaves the machine. Everything else stays home.
This is the whole thing
No setup, no learning curve, no figuring out where the button is. That’s the whole point. The fastest way to get something done on your Mac is to just ask for it.
What we believe
The future isn't one more app to download and learn. It's smarts that fit into the tools you already use every day. For us that's your Mac and one key.
The nicest tool is the one you barely notice. No menus to memorise, no perfect prompt to write. You just say what you want, and it happens.
Hold a key. Talk or type. Get your answer. Anyone gets it in three seconds. Making something that simple, and still that powerful, is most of the work.
We're two people in Europe shipping for real: no “coming soon” tabs, no waitlists, no half-built features. We'd love Katchy to be the first unicorn that grew out of a menu bar.
What’s next
Katchy is the first thing this company makes, not the last. The next big one is Avokado, an AI system for running an online shop. It plugs straight into Katchy, so selling stuff online gets as easy as asking your Mac for it.
We honestly don’t know exactly where all of this goes yet. That’s half the fun. We’re going to make it as cool as we possibly can, and ship it properly, the way we always do.
The two of us
A 22 year old couple building from Europe. Every project before this one flopped. This one won’t.
